Hardwood floors add beauty and elegance to the home or office, but like any other type of flooring they do require care and maintenance to retain their looks.
Wood waxing and buffing isn’t as simple as popping on a coat of wax and shining it up. Some floors have an existing chemical layer, certain floors have been treated during the manufacturing process, some need to be stripped to ensure even application and older floors, for example, need regular upkeep.
HERE’S HOW WE WORK OUR MAGIC:
- We assess the area of concern and discuss your expectations, confirming cost before we start
- When applying the wax, it’s a three-step process – first, we clean the floors from any dirt, we then carefully extract the dirt and any fibres from the area and allow the surface to dry. We then apply the coating that’s suitable for your floor.
- Buffing can be done as a stand-alone service or after the wax has been applied. We buff your floors using an industrial machine to remove any pre-existing surface scratches and increase sheen.
- Voila – hello immaculate, shiny floors!
